Bringing Your "Big Guns" To The Gun Show: Instances When You Need Trade Show Security

Trade show security is no joke. In fact, terrorists and lone gunmen target places where people are meeting en masse every day, or when thousands to millions of people will be attending a major event. In addition to the possible shootings and bombings that such events face, there are some especially important trade shows that need heavier security than others. If you are sponsoring or organizing any one of the following events, make sure you double up your security. To do so, you may want to contact a company like Security Unlimited

Gun Shows

With all of the heat about how private sellers can sell guns at a gun show and not require a background check, you are going to want to make sure you have plenty of security at this event. Gun manufacturers and gun shop owners alike will have enough fire power on display to make terrorists drool. To stop any unwanted and unwarranted violence from occurring, your security can monitor the entire event from afar via CCTV, while several more security personnel patrol the show and keep their eyes out for anything suspicious that the cameras might miss. Doing so can prevent the purchase of weapons by any individual or group who would then turn the guns on the crowds.

Weapons Technology and Military Defense Shows

While this is an opportunity to recruit many young people to a branch of the military and showcase all of the technological advancements offered up to government contractors, it is another example of the necessity of security. While much of the technology on display is meant to get the military interested in funding projects to further the research and construction, it is also a dangerous viewing of how this technology might be recruited by the wrong people. Security should definitely be tight, with no admittance of any sidearms regardless of one's permit to carry, and there should be checkpoints at the door with guards to "wand over" anyone who looks suspicious.

Simulated Violence, AI Conventions and Gaming Shows

Another possible trade show to be hit by real violence is one where simulated violence and AI is on display all the time. These video gaming shows feature tons of cool gaming stuff and equipment, with views and demos of the most advanced faux weapons for play. Not only would some unstable person like to steal that, he or she might be crazed enough to bring a real gun to the event and use it to take whatever he or she wants by force in his/her own version of "Street Warfare."
